These real photo postcards are of a miniature hearse built by the Tip Top
Body Shop of San Antonio, Texas in the late 20's or early 30's. You can see
some great old advertising in the background by the Heinz Co., Frigidare,
and Gladwin Auto Paints. The two signs near the wheels show the hearse
was built for Sanchez Undertakers and that it was built by the Tip Top Body
Shop on E. Houston Street in San Antonio, Texas. The photograph of the of
the entrance to the body shop has signs advertising that Tip Top Body Shop
builds racing and speedster bodies, rumble seats, buses, as well as top and
seat covers. There is also a clever sign which reads Smash 'Em, We fix 'Em.
San Antonio is currently the home of LCW Automotive Corp a limousine
