A number of experimental sleeper coaches were constructed in the 1930's,
after the depression had largely ended, in an effort to capitalize on
interest created by the Pickwick Nite-Coach several years earlier. One such
attempt was made by Paul W. Seiler, former president of General Motors Truck
Co. The prototype had berths for 16 passengers and was constructed on a
rear-engine Reo chassis. no further examples were built.
