California-based stretch limousine builders who build on Ford Excursion,
Cadillac Escalade, Hummer and Hummer H2 SUV chassis as well as an occasional
luxury car stretch. Recently they've built on Mercedes (S-class), Chrysler
(300C) and Lincoln Town Car chassis.

Royal Coach by Victor, an Orange, Calif., company that built Lewis's
other limos, converted the Hummers from SUVs to limousines. Andy Wagner, one
of the owners, said his firm has built several Hummer limos for other
companies and shipped some to other countries.
"There's nothing that can out-do a Hummer," Wagner said. "A lot of people
want one, but there aren't that many that can afford them."

James Checo, the sales manager of Royal Coach by Victor in Orange,
Calif., said that the company can't stretch enough Hummers to keep up with
demand. ''It's the hottest new toy,'' he said. ''We've done 40 of them. It
started as a Southern California and New York thing, but now it's moving
into the smaller towns and the Midwest.''
