McClain Sales Inc. was a large S&S funeral coach and ambulance distributor located in Anderson, Ind., that turned out numerous flower car conversions of standard Cadillac sedans from 1960 up until his death in 1983.

A nice 1979 McClain-Cadillac flower was seen for sale on the 2004 Hershey red field for a mere $5,900.

Francis Joseph McClain was the creator of the standard-wheelbase Cadillac flower car that bears his name.

Francis M. McClain is credited by some sources as "perfecting the flower car for funeral homes" according to the Anderson Historical Society.
