After designing new Bickle fire engines in 1926, V.B. King went on' to operate a prosperous truck and trailer company. In 1956 he took over the remains of the bankrupt Bickle company including the Seagrave franchise, and started producing King-Seagrave fire engines. Most King-Seagraves are on conventional truck chassis. HD
