Jennell & Company of Woonsocket, Rhode Island - Here is
a picture of the Brewster station wagon I own. At one time this was a
Brewster town car owned by Mrs. Peter Gerry whose husband was a senator from
Rhode Island. It was built into a station wagon during the second World War
by Jennell & Company of Woonsocket, Rhode Island and used on an estate in
Bovina Center. One day, one of the lawn boys who did not know how to drive
tried to move it and ran it off a bridge into the creek bed below. It ended
up on its top and was considered a complete wreck by the insurance company.
I bought it from the insurance company and George Storie, who works for me
and is also an AUHV member, and I built the woodwork over and straightened
the metal work. We have since driven it many thousands of miles.
