Janesville was one of the
hundreds of body building firms that made commercial bodies for Model Ts
from the mid-teens through the twenties. Know to have built a hotel bus
body in 1915 with unusual square sliding glass windows.

As Samson Trucks (1919-1922) was also in Janesville, it is possible that
Janesville Carriage supplied cabs and bodies for some Samson Trucks. Samson
was sold to Chevrolet in 1922
