Undertakers Service Truck and Utility Hearse
Interesting brochure from Herby Brothers, Jamestown, NY. This company built
the bodies (no pun intended) for Ford or Chevrolet trucks to be used for
mortuary services. Brochure is in mint condition. Tri-fold, folds out to 9"
by 12".
Firm started by John Herby in 1885 to manufacture wagons. Continued into the
1930s making commercial vehicle bodies. Famous for their service bodies for
undertakers that could be mounted to Ford Model A and AA truck chassis.
