Dominion Manufacturers Ltd. 1880s-1960s - Toronto, Ontario, Canada

In Canada, Dominion Manufactuers was building a line of high-grade coaches on extended Canadian Dodge chassis.  For 1922 they offered traditional carved-panel coaches and a number of limousine-style combination coaches and ambulances. A beautiful black combination pallbearers' coach and ambulance reflected a european style yet to be seen south of the border.

During the late 1920s Dominion entered into a distribution deal with the Boston-based National Casket Company. Dominion was the exclusive distributor of National-Kissel and National-REO funeral coaches and ambulances in Canada until the mid-1930s.

Post-WWII A.J. Miller coaches were distributed in Canada by Dominion Manufactuers Ltd, an old Toronto-base firm who manufactured caskets and other funeral supplies.
