advertised in the Chevrolet's 1947 Silver book. Known school bus body
builder - listed in Chevrolet Silver Book and 1951 school bus brochures.
DeBoer school bus bodies
were marketed as Americoach or DeBoer Americoach and usually used Ford
chassis. The were also a featured body builder in the Ford Truck catalogs
during the late 1940s and 1950s.
Some 137" short wheelbase 1958 Americoaches featured Ford P-series chassis
with front ends that looked like they were sourced from Vanette.
