Auto Body Co. – Springfield, Massachusetts – built
bodies for Hupmobile during the early 1920s. May have been a wholly owned
subsidiary. Another Hupmobile body plant in Racine, Wisconsin was purchased
by Murray in 1925 when Hupmobile contracted to purchase all/most of their
bodies from Murray.
