Argosy Manufacturing Co. Versailles, Ohio
Many miniature buses have appeared in the U.S. since provision of service
in low-density territories has been in demand by the authorities but
uneconomical to provide with standard-size equipment. One is the Argosy,
made by an affiliate of the company that builds Airstream aluminum-alloy
travel trailers and A-Van truck bodies. The Argosy is offered either 24 or
25 feet long with seats for 25 to 29 passengers (or fewer if a wheelchair
lift and securements are provided).
